Overview

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant 

Location: NovaCare Eldersburg Maryland

Schedule: Full Time 40 Hours Weekdays

Compensation: starting at $29.00/hour

Incentives: Sign on bonus and/or indefinite student loan help

 

 

Our NovaCare / LifeBridge outpatient orthopedic team in Eldersburg MD is seeking a licensed physical therapist assistant (PTA) to provide top-notch patient care to patients of all ages and abilities. Our highly trained and respected clinical team provides treatment services that maximize functionality and promote the best optimal outcomes for our patients. Our Eldersburg OP ortho team treats a diverse population and is one of our sports centers of excellence. Your caseload would not be 100% sports and will include additional specialties such as; vestibular, neurology, concussion, oncology, industrial (POETs), dry needling, amputees, and fall prevention on top of general orthopedics.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
  • Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
  • Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

  • College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
  • Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
  • Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
  • CPR certification
