Position: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Outpatient Pediatrics

Location: RUSH in Saint Charles, IL

Schedule: Full Time

Compensation:- $65,000 - $82,000

Bonus: Up to $12,000 Sign on Bonus

 

 

RUSH in Saint Charles, IL, is seeking a full time pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our fun, collaborative multi-disciplinary team! We have 12 outpatient pediatric centers in the Chicagoland area. We evaluate and treat a variety of pediatric patients with diagnoses ranging from developmental delay, cerebral palsy, genetic disorders, autism spectrum disorders, sensory processing, feeding disorders, speech and language delays, childhood apraxia of speech, articulation, and phonological disorders.  

 

 

We offer the opportunity for a Clinical Fellowship Year.  We have a strong mentor who is able to provide supervision for CF.  We also offer both internal and external continuing education courses. Our large network will allow for additional support and strong mentorship into expanding your skills, including feeding therapy, AAC, and more.

 

 

We can consider either a CCC or CFY at this clinic.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate assigned patients and establish appropriate treatment goals and treatment programs
  • Provides ongoing evaluation of patient’s status and goals
  • Develops comprehensive goals for patient treatment to maximize outcomes
  • Coordinates treatment program in conjunction with other clinical/therapeutic services
  • Attends appropriate clinical meetings to facilitate coordination
  • To provide quality patient care while maintaining a positive level of interaction with facilities and clients

Qualifications

  • Meet American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) minimum standards for initiation Clinical Fellowship Year including but not limited to 36 credit hours in prescribed study.
  • State licensure/registration where appropriate.ASHA certification is required.
  • 300 hours in prescribed clinical practicum experience required.
