Overview

Position: Physical Therapist- Ortho/Oncology - KORT- Tyler Center

Location: 12613 Taylorsville Rd, Ste 118, Louisville, KY 40299

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Compensation: Salary starting at $68,000 annual base

Incentives: Potential for $10,000 sign on and $4200 in student debt relief

 

Our KORT community-oriented outpatient center in Louisville (Tyler Center) is looking for a compassionate, caring and driven licensed physical therapist with an interest in cancer rehabilitation to provide exceptional patient care on a full time basis. 

Seize the opportunity to join our highly trained and respected ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation Program team, who provide rehabilitative services to help improve quality of life for people affected by cancer. Our ReVital team provides the necessary education and training for therapists invested in treating our diverse population, which must be completed within the first 6-12 months of employment. Caseload will be primarily orthopedics with some oncology and the opportunity to grow oncology. New grads welcome to apply!

Responsibilities

  • Maintain open and respectful communication with all parties
  • Understand and adhere to state practice acts and laws governing PTAs
  • Complete and maintain required trainings
  • Maintain compliance with government regulations
  • Evaluate, treat and direct treatment for patients

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of those educational requirements as mandated for state licensure or eligibility for a license in Physical Therapy
  • Current State licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice
  • Outpatient clinical rotation if current student
  • Outpatient experience in the last 5 years if practicing clinician
  • CPR certified

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Interest/experience in cancer rehabilitation (student rotations considered)
