Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Orthopedic PRN

Location: Blacksville, WV

Schedule: PRN, As Needed Weekdays (Mon-Fri)

 

 

HealthWorks in Blacksville, WV is seeking local, licensed PRN Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA) to join our outpatient orthopedic team. This role is perfect for a WV licensed PTA with outpatient experience who values work-life balance. We’ll pair our coverage needs with your availability to create a schedule that works for you. 

 

 

We treat the Monongalia county community offering general ortho, neuro, vestibular, concussion, sports medicine, and fall prevention rehabilitative services. Licensed PTAs of all experience levels will be considered.

 

 

We are open as early as 8A until 6P weekdays Monday through Friday. Per diem / PRN has no set schedule as we will look for as needed coverage during our weekday hours of operation.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
  • Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
  • Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

  • College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
  • Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
  • Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
  • CPR certification
