Overview

Position: Physical Therapist - Lymphedema/Oncology/Ortho

Location: Saco Bay Physical Therapy - Westbrook, ME

Schedule: Full time, Monday-Friday, 2-3 early start days (7 am-8 am), 2-3 days of evening finishes (6-6:30 pm), 4 day work week available (10 hour shifts)

Compensation: Salary up to $100,000/yr (pending experience)

Incentives: $10k sign on bonus, student debt benefit program

 

Saco Bay Physical Therapy is seeking a certified lymphedema therapist to come join our newest center at Rock Row in Westbrook, Maine. Rock Row medical campus is a state of the art complex specifically designed around the concept of providing first class comprehensive services to the oncology community of Maine and beyond. We are partnered with top providers in the state, and will provide multidisciplinary rehabilitative services on this campus. Seize the opportunity to join our trained and respected ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation Program team who provide rehabilitative services to help improve quality of life for people affected by cancer. Our ReVital team provides the necessary education and training for therapists invested in treating our diverse patient population, which must be completed within the first 6-12 months of employment. Caseload will be heavily cancer rehab and lymphedema with some orthopedics.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain open and respectful communication with all parties
  • Understand and adhere to state practice acts and laws governing PTs
  • Complete and maintain required trainings
  • Maintain compliance with government regulations
  • Evaluate, treat and direct treatment for patients

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of those educational requirements as mandated for state licensure or eligibility for a license in Physical Therapy
  • Current State licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice
  • CPR certified
  • Lymphedema certification
  • At least 1 year outpatient orthopedic experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cancer rehabilitation interest/experience
