Clinical Liaisons are advocates who educate and guide patients toward the next level of care, while building relationships in the local medical community to help grow referrals and admissions into our Neuro Transitional Rehabilitation Center. You will use your clinical experience to both assess and provide options to patients who would benefit from our care, but who may not be aware of our services and patient outcomes. You will connect with clinicians throughout the market to open doors so more patients have access to extended therapy, with the goal of providing them independence when they return home. We're looking for a clinician with a passion to serve and a strong sense of patient advocaccy. You'll need to roll up your sleeves and dig into insurance policies and language to help patients receive care they traditionally may not otherwise access.
Transitional rehabilitation is dedicated for individuals with traumatic brain injury (TBI), spinal cord injury* (SCI - C5 and below; not on vent), stroke or other neurological diseases, and who are also at high risk for unsafe discharge. Our Neuro Transitional Center provides a unique environment designed to feel like a home, yet gives patients with physical, behavioral and cognitive impairments access to comprehensive therapy in multiple settings. Our Center in Dallas is co-owned by Baylor Scott & White Health - adding to the confidence our patients and referral sources have in our ability to provide outstanding care.
