Overview

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant Outpatient Ortho, Concussion, Vestibular, Neuro, Oncology (ReVital)

Location:  NovaCare in Clarksville Maryland

 

Schedule: Full Time 40 hours. No weekends

 

Compensation: starting at $25.00/Hr.

Our NovaCare River Hill Maryland outpatient orthopedic center is seeking a licensed physical therapist assistant (PTA) or physical therapist (PT) to provide top-notch patient care to patients of all ages and abilities. Our multidisciplinary OP Ortho team can provide an onsite defined mentorship for new graduate LPTAs and PTs. An ideal clinician has at least one year of experience in OP Ortho.

 

We take pride in creating an exceptional patient experience, helping all of our patients get back to athletics, work, life, and the things they love. Must have Maryland license to start, those in process of licensure are WELCOME to apply.

 

 

Schedule: Monday - Friday treating two days 1130AM- 8PM with last patient scheduled an hour prior.

 

 

 

 

Volume:  10-12 patients per day increased gradually during orientation and/or mentorship.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
  • Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
  • Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

  • College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
  • Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
  • Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
  • CPR certification
