Overview

Position: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - COTA

Location: Shawnee, OK (Pottawatomie County Schools)

Schedule: Part-time, 2-3 days/week during school hours.

Compensation: $29.00-$32.00/hour (pending experience)

 

Our outpatient pediatric center in Shawnee, OK is seeking a licensed COTA to provide quality patient care. This is a school based position 2-3 days per week. Previous pediatric Occupational therapy/ school based therapy is preferred. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Detail-Oriented: Observe, note and report on the progress of long and short-term treatment goals and ensure proper documentation of patient care.
  • Education: Teach patients new ways of approaching tasks and how to break down activities into achievable components.
  • High Standard of Care: Maintain professional standards through compliance with quality assurance policies/procedures and applicable regulations and corporate policies
  • Personalized Treatment: Under the direction of a licensed occupational therapist, optimize patients’ functional abilities and skills.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an ACOTA accredited occupational therapy assistant (OTA) program
  • State COTA license (or license eligible)
  • CPR certification
  • Valid state driver’s license
