Position: Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapist 

Location:2940 E Banner Gateway Drive, Suite 425  Gilbert, AZ 85234

Incentives: $5,000 Bonus and Student Debt Benefit

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Compensation: Salaried, starting at $72,000 and up, commensurate with experience, PLUS $5,000 Sign-on Bonus and Student Debt Benefit Program

 

Banner Phyiscal Therapy seeking a full-time Hand Therapist-OTR for our outpatient orthopedic center located in Gilbert, AZ.  We can mentor an occupational therapist aspiring to be a certified hand therapist. We have a network of hand therapists and CHTs available for support. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the evaluation, plan of care, treatment, re-evaluation, discharge, and appropriate communications of high quality hand therapy services to patients and customers.
  • Develop treatment plans, supervise assistants and aides, contribute to case management, and provide quality patient care.
  • Maintain positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
  • Stay current and up to date with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).

Qualifications

  • Must be a graduate of an AOTA accredited school of Occupational Therapy and state OT License required
  • Experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedics is required
  • Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
  • Valid driver’s license
