Injury Prevention Specialist/Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) - Troy, OH

 NovaCare Rehabilitation is currently seeking a Full Time Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC)/Injury Prevention Specialist in Troy, OH

This position is for a Certified Athletic Trainer or Exercise Physiologist, required to be on-site at 2 different contract locations in area (Troy and Tipp City) providing injury prevention services.

Compensation: commensurate with experience, starting at $50k-60k/yr

Schedule: will be to be determined by the company they are placed at but typical 1st shift industrial hours are a start time around 5 or 6 am and end 8 hours later.

• On-site coverage for industrial client under the direction of Account/Program Manager
• Delivery of full continuum of Onsite Injury Prevention Services at assigned location. Prevention Services include:
  • Assessment, triage, and first aid application for workplace injury/discomfort
  • Ergonomic risk assessment and implementation of ergonomic solutions
  • Design and implementation of functional assessments, preventative exercise and stretching
  • Job coaching and behavior modification both one-on-one and in group settings
  • Providing education and training on a wide range of injury prevention topics
  • Office ergonomics
  • Health and wellness consultation
• Documentation and reporting on employee encounters
• Regular communication with both client and Select leadership

• BS Degree REQUIRED
• Minimum one year experience, industrial setting experience a plus
• Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Position requires a strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injury assessment and prevention interventions
