Responsibilities

BSW Rehab Outpatient is looking for a full time physical therapist for our busy, multi-disciplinary Waxahachie clinic. We are located in the MOB I on campus of the BSWH Waxahachie Medical Center located on I-35 and Hwy 287. You will be working with other experienced physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech and language pathologists who specialize in orthopedics, neurology, oncology and lymphedema diagnoses. We are looking for a clinician that is well rounded and preferably has experience in an outpatient setting. Will be willing to train the right candidate for any of specialties.

 

 

  • Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
  • Patient Case Load Average: 10-12 patients a day
  • Timely and accurate documentation using Therapy Source
  • Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including medical notes and surgery reports
  • Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
  • Promoting continuous quality improvement
  • Instructing and counseling patients/families as needed

 

Qualifications

  • Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
  • Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment or as required by state regulations.
