NovaCare Kids Kalamazoo is seeking a pediatric Behavior Technician (BT) in Kalamazoo, MI

Part Time Hours to start--could turn into full time

 

NovaCare is looking to hire a part time Behavior Technician (BT) for our pediatric team in Kalamazoo. A Behavior Technician works 1:1 with children with an Autism diagnosis implementing ABA programs and Behavior Intervention Plans directed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)/Case Manager. All technicians are supervised by the BCBA/Case Manager weekly. They are responsible for collecting and recording data based on observable client behavior. They receive and implement feedback in a professional manner and are responsible for communicating to parents and team members regarding a child's progress.

 

Schedule: No Weekends- M-F

Responsibilities

  • Work 1:1 with children with an Autism diagnosis in the child's homes and our facilities.
  • Implement ABA programs and Behavior Intervention Plans directed and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Collect, record and document data based on observable client behavior and communicate to parents and team members regarding a child’s progress.
  • Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.
  • Some travel may be required.

** Subject to limitations imposed by state/local/federal law.

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required
  • Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required
  • Registered Behavior Technician certified required for the RBT
