Unit Secretary  - Full time

 

Starting pay: $18

 

Hours: 7:00am - 7:30pm OR 8:00am - 8:30pm - 3 days a week/Rotating Schedule

Every 3rd weekend (Sat/Sun)

Responsibilities

 

  • Organizes clerical functions of the nursing unit
  • Clear communication
  • record keeping, logs, and patient information. 
  • Notifies the nursing staff and/or charge nurse in a timely manner of pertinent patient information, including physician orders, laboratory or test results, and communication from other departments. 

 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1 year clerical experience preferred in a medical setting required
  • Proficient computer skills required

 

Prefered Experience

  • High School Graduate or equivalent preferred
