Sign On Bonus: $7500.00

Compensation depends upon candidate’s years of experience and internal equity.

 Salary Range: $73,840- $102,252.80

 

 

BSW Bryant Irvin is seeking an experienced occupational therapist to join our dynamic, multi-disciplinary team! The center is comprised of 4 PT's, 1 OT, 1 SLP, and 2 PSS's. Our team strives to provide exceptional care to individuals with various orthopedic, neurologic, and oncologic diagnoses. Interest in cancer rehabilitation is required, experience preferred. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills, flexible, and commitied to providing an exceptional patient experience. We are unable to accept new graduates for this position.

Our ReVital team provides the necessary education and training for therapists invested in treating both our oncologic and orthopedic population, which must be completed within the first 6-12 months of employment. Responsibilities

  • Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
  • Patient Case Load Average: 10-12 patients a day
  • Timely and accurate documentation 
  • Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including medical notes and surgery reports
  • Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
  • Promoting continuous quality improvement
  • Instructing and counseling patients/families as needed

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of those educational requirements as mandated for state licensure or eligibility for a license in Occupational Therapy
  • Current State licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice
  • Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week with occasional late or early shifts to accommodate patients
  • Licensed clinical experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Outpatient orthopedic experience (student rotations considered)
  • Cancer rehabilitation interest/experience
