NovaCare Rehabilitation in Glen Burnie is seeking a part time licensed outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant 

 

 

 

NovaCare Glen Burnie is seeking a licensed physical therapist assistant to provide exceptional patient care to patients of all ages and abilities. This is a part time position for a licensed physical therapist assistant (LPTA) treating 2- 3 evenings (3pm-7pm) 2-3 times per week indefinitely. We offer a multitude of specialty services on top of general ortho to include neuro, pelvic health, vestibular, concussion and sports medicine. This is a steady part time position, treating late afternoons until evenings with last patient scheduled an hour prior. 

 

New Graduate Physical Therapist Assistants are WELCOME to apply! You must have your Maryland PTA license to start.

 

Our highly trained and respected clinical team provides treatment services that maximize functionality and promote the best optimal outcomes for our patients. Schedule: 3pm until 7pm 2-3x/week

Compensation Starting At: $28 per hour commensurate with experience

 

 

We are unable to offer medical benefits if you are treating less than 32 hours but you WILL have access to our CEU accrediting courses. Both virtual and in-person, limitlessly.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
  • Possesses training and education which allows him/her to assist the Physical Therapist in carrying out prescribed treatment program.
  • Implements, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures.
  • Maintains positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhances and expands client relations with facilities and their staff.

Qualifications

  • Must be a graduate from an approved curriculum for Physical Therapist Assistants, and having passed a national examination for Physical Therapist Assistants certified by the CAPTE.
  • State license and/or certification must be valid in the state in which the individual will practice.
  • Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
