Responsibilities

As a Business Analyst, you will provide support to projects related to a variety applications critical to our outpatient line of business. In this role, you will be viewed as a subject matter expert. The areas of responsibilities include completion of assigned tasks for newly developed functionality, implementation of application software, and maintenance of existing applications. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining documentation as well as testing application functionality.  You will ensure customer satisfaction by responding in a timely manner for issues escalated from the Solution Center.  This position must coordinate and communicate with other IS resources who are assigned to support application issues and project tasks. Provide on call support, as required and occasional planned off hours support for project/release implementations.

Qualifications

Required:  

  • BS or BA or equivalent education and experience
  • 2 - 4 year of experience in Business Analysis including documentation of business functional requirements and ensuring successful integration and/or implementation of projects
  • 2 - 4 years of experience in mapping of business requirements and solutions to system/technical requirements
  • 2 - 4 year of experience writing technical requirements
  • Some experience with databases (SQL, Access)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to read, write, and speak in a professional manner
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Great customer service and teamwork skills
  • Ability to collaborate with team and business operators
  • Ability to adapt to changing business priorities
  • The ability to gather information from other project team members as necessary

Preferred:

  • Technical background preferred
  • Background in or working with physical, occupational and speech therapists.
  • Background working with an EMR/EHR application.
  • Ability to operate using standard methodologies for the completion of tasks within an agile environment
  • Understanding of SDLC (Software Development Lifecycles)
