Select Physical Therapy is seeking a Pediatric Behavior Technician (BT) in Wasilla, AK 

 

Select Physical Therapist is looking to hire a full time Pediatric Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for our team in Wasilla, AK. A Behavior Technician works 1:1 with children with an Autism diagnosis implementing ABA programs and Behavior Intervention Plans directed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)/Case Manager. All technicians are supervised by the BCBA/Case Manager weekly. They are responsible for collecting and recording data based on observable client behavior. They receive and implement feedback in a professional manner and are responsible for communicating to parents and team members regarding a child's progress.

Training for this position is available to sit for RBT exam.

 

Work Location: Wasilla Clinic / Home Visits

Compensation: Starting at $20/hr

Responsibilities

  • Work 1:1 with children with an Autism diagnosis in the child's homes and our facilities.
  • Implement ABA programs and Behavior Intervention Plans directed and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Collect, record and document data based on observable client behavior and communicate to parents and team members regarding a child’s progress.
  • Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.
  • Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required
  • Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required
