Select Physical Therapy is seeking an outpatient Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Hanover, PA

 

Our outpatient center in Hanover is seeking a licensed COTA to provide quality patirent care. We take pride in creating an exceptional patient experience, helping all of our patients get back to athletics, work, life, and the things they love. 

 

Best practices and evidence-based programs are utilized for individualized patient care. You will work closely with our therapity team Our clinics are fully equipped to provide care to patients ranging from post-surgical, non-operative to work conditioning. Schedule: Per diem, Monday through Friday. 

Unique details: Multidisciplinary outpatient center with 2 PTs, 1 PTAs, 1 OT, and 1 SLP on staff.  Looking to add a COTA. Diverse patient mix including orthopedics, neuro, hands and POETS. 

Compensation: $25-35/hr based on your experience.

Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of the licensed occupational therapist, optimize the functional abilities and skills of patients.
  • Teach clients new ways of approaching tasks and educate them on how to break down activities into achievable components
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality patient care services.
  • Observe, note, and report on the progress of long and short-term treatment goals
  • Ensure proper documentation of patient care.
  • Maintain professional standards through compliance with quality assurance policies/ procedures as well as applicable regulations and corporate policies

Qualifications

  • Must be a graduate of an ACOTA accredited occupational therapy assistant (OTA) program
  • National registration and state COTA licensure or registration REQUIRED
  • Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
  • Valid state driver’s license
