Neuropsychologist - Inpatient Acute Rehab Setting - Per Diem

BSWIR has been designated by the National Institute for Disability, Independent Living and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR) as a Traumatic Brain Injury Model Systems (TBIMS) center for the treatment and care of patients with traumatic brain injuries. We have continued to expand our reach and now have three freestanding rehabilitation hospitals and 70 outpatient rehabilitation clinics in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. This includes four day neurorehabilitation locations for post-acute rehabilitation of acquired brain injury (ABI).
We are currently seeking per diem psychologists to work with our inpatient traumatic brain injury program. Additional populations served may include polytrauma, stroke, organ transplant, neuro-oncology, cardiac rehabilitation, amputation, and others. Overall responsibilities include emphasis on cross-disciplinary team participation, and providing comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological services across the continuum of care.
1. Doctoral degree (PhD, PsyD, EdD) in Clinical, Counseling, Health or School Psychology required with specific training in Neuropsychology and/or Rehabilitation Psychology Neuropsychology preferred.
2. Current and valid state licensure as a Psychologist required.
3. Medicare Provider eligibility.
4. One or more years of post-doctoral experience in practice of psychology required.
5. Neuropsychological practice within an inpatient rehabilitation setting preferred.
6. Certified BLS completion required
